Our service trucks are completely stocked with the parts and equipment it takes to do the job. We are ready to go 24 hours a day to make sure that any emergency that might arise is taken care of in a timely and professional manner. We will repair any service issues that you may have.

Tonna Mechanical takes pride in being one of the few Carrier Factory Authorized Dealers (CFAD) in Southeast Minnesota. One of the requirements for us to become a CFAD was to have our technicians become N.A.T.E. (North American Technical Excellence) certified. This requires us to provide the proper training and skills necessary for our technician to pass written exams. These exams ensure the technician coming to your home or business is trained with the proper skills and knowledge to service your equipment. N.A.T.E. is becoming an industry standard to assure customers they are getting the best possible service. You can read more about this prestigious certification program at www.natex.org.

If you have not contacted us for your service needs, please give us a call today. At Tonna Mechanical, Inc., we are dedicated to giving you professional and courteous service you can depend on.

Planned Maintenance Agreements - Service you can trust!

Tonna Mechanical, Inc. offers both residential and commercial planned maintenance agreements. Through our planned maintenance agreements we help you protect your investment and reduce the ‘emergency repairs’ by finding many of the minor issues and repairing them before they turn into emergency calls. One emergency repair with overtime or double time charges can easily exceed the cost of your annual planned maintenance agreement. The investment of a home or business is one of the largest investments most of us will ever make. Remember, many standard and extended warranties require that you have annual maintenance performed by trained professionals in order to keep the warranty valid.

Beyond the maintenance of your system we want to keep your investment and family safe. One minor crack in your heat exchanger can allow deadly carbon monoxide gas to infiltrate your home. We encourage you to maintain your investment and keep your family safe starting today!

Benefits of a Planned Maintenance Agreement

  • Lower utility bills
  • 10% discount on repair parts
  • Automatic notice to schedule your next visit
  • Written report of all findings
  • Maintains manufacturers warranties
  • Ability to make informed decisions
  • Safety for your home and family

Customized Planned Maintenance Agreements allow you to choose which equipment you would like us to perform scheduled maintenance on. Below is a list of equipment you can select from to have maintained in your home.

  • Gas Furnace
  • Electric Heaters
  • Fan Coil Units
  • Air Conditioners
  • Heat Pumps
  • Air Exchanger
  • Boiler
  • Water Heater
  • Water Softener
  • R.O. System
  • Humidifier
  • UV Light
  • Water Filtration Systems
  • Iron Filters
  • Ductless Mini-Split Systems

Please contact us to add equipment not listed or have your commercial planned maintenance agreement quoted. You can tell us how often you would like each piece maintained or we can build your plan based on the manufacturers’ recommendations and building occupancy/usage.

Before you call...

TIPS

  • Verify your electrical breaker, fuses, or disconnect are turned on.

  • Verify your thermostat is set to the proper function and set point.

  • Check to see if you filter is dirty or plugged. These should be changed monthly if you have a standard 1” filter and we recommend every 6-12 months on media air cleaners.

  • Look for ice on the refrigerant lines. These are the copper lines that are routed from your outdoor condensing unit to the indoor coil near your furnace. If you see ice build-up on these lines, turn you outdoor condensing unit off immediately and call for service. If the unit continues to operate you could damage major components or internal parts that can be very expensive to repair or replace.

  • If possible give the dispatcher the make, model, and serial number of the units you are having service performed on. This will allow us to bring some of the common parts and avoid additional trips or deliveries to get the proper parts for you system.

DO NOT

  • DO NOT perform service or repairs on your equipment. Your equipment has high voltage electrical components, high pressure refrigeration system, and gas may be connected to your heating system. All of these can be deadly if not serviced properly. The money it will cost to have your system repaired is not worth injury or death.

  • DO NOT assume that because your equipment is not operating that your thermostat is always at fault. Changing your thermostat improperly can lead to other issues and component failures that will only increase the cost of your service visit.

  • DO NOT eliminate safety features on your equipment to allow your system to operate. The features are installed from the factory to protect your family from injury or death upon a component failure or operating problem with your system. Have these features repaired or replace to protect you and your investment.
